Arusha

Most travellers pass through Arusha on the way to the northern parks and see very little of it. This guided day takes you into the markets, museums and streets of the town itself, with a local lunch along the way. It is a relaxed, useful first day for anyone arriving early or recovering from a long flight.

A day on the fertile slopes of Mount Meru, where smallholder farms grow some of Tanzania’s best-known coffee. You walk the plantation, take part in the roasting and grinding, taste the result, and then spend time in the village and its market. It is a gentle, sociable day rather than a sightseeing sprint.

Dodoma is Tanzania’s capital and almost nobody visits it as a tourist. That is part of the appeal: a calm, spread-out city of government buildings, places of worship, granite outcrops and vineyards. This guided day covers the landmarks and ends in the wine country that surrounds the city.
DodomaDodoma Wine & Kondoa Rock-Art Day
A long, rewarding day that pairs a Dodoma winery visit with the Kondoa Rock-Art Sites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed in 2006. We are honest about the driving: Kondoa is roughly three hours from Dodoma each way, to be confirmed, so this day needs an early start — or, better, an overnight.
